Make a difference
Covering 70% of the Earth’s surface, the oceans generate over half of the planet’s oxygen, absorb more than a quarter of the carbon dioxide we emit, and play a critical role in regulating the global climate. Their capacity to absorb excess heat is so immense that, without them, the planet would be 35°C warmer.
Yet, despite their vastness, human activity is severely damaging ocean ecosystems. Since 2011, the Caribbean has been severely impacted by sargassum seaweed invasions, causing environmental degradation, economic strain, and health concerns across the region. Now more than ever, urgent action is needed.
Our mission is to help secure a healthier future for our oceans.
